Open Makers Rules

A healthy community is a successful community, at Open Makers we request your co-operation in building a strong community by following a few basic rules.

  1. By registering with Open Makers you agree to all our terms and conditions.
  2. Do not be hateful, racist, manipulative, demeaning, bigot, rude or any other negative type of person.
  3. Be awesome to each other, it’s that simple.
By registering with Open Makers, you agree to these but limited to these guidelines and policies. Accounts and content may be banned or permanently deleted as we see fit and without warning.
  1. No posting of potentially inflammatory discussions or comments regarding social issues, these include, but are not limited to, topics such as racism, sexism, religion, xenophobia or homosexuality.
  2. No crude, derogatory, inappropriate, or disrespectful remarks aimed at any individual(s)
  3. No derogatory, anti-social or inflammatory remarks aimed at any group of people, with the intention to incite a mass response are not only a crime in most countries, but are also totally unacceptable here.
  4. No Pornography, Brutality or Similar
  5. No Images or animations depicting blatantly pornographic acts including intercourse, masturbation, bestiality or abuse, etc.
  6. No violent, crude, or obscene imagery
  7. No scenes depicting themes such as rape, or any other brutality will not be tolerated in any form.
  8. No racial slurs
  9. No Spamming
  10. Open Makers does not tolerate any members that, in any way, aid or encourage the use of illegally acquired software.
Trademarks

All brand, product and service names used in this Service which identify Open Makers or third parties and their products and services are proprietary marks of Open Makers and/or the relevant third parties.

Use of a trademark not owned or have permission to use is not tolerated, usernames infringing on such trademark/s may be forced to hand over username to rightful owner.

Copyright

Open Makers is, unless otherwise stated, the owner of all copyright and data rights in the Service and its contents. Individuals who have posted works to Open Makers are either the copyright owners of the component parts of that work or are posting the work under license from a copyright owner or his or her agent or otherwise as permitted by law. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display or perform, or prepare derivative works based on any of the Content including any such works without the express, written consent of Open Makers or the appropriate owner of copyright in such works. Open Makers does not claim ownership rights in your works or other materials posted by you. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. OPEN MAKERS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. OPEN MAKERS MAKES NO WARRANTY AS TO THE SECURITY, RELIABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND PERFORMANCE OF THIS SERVICE. Amendment of the Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. If you have registered as a member, we shall notify you of any material changes to these Terms (and the effective date of such changes) by sending an email to the address you have provided to Open Makers. If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms, you will be deemed to have accepted those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, your sole remedy shall be to discontinue using the Service.

Open Makers reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any account, profile, or listing with or without reason or notice. Polite enquiries are encouraged and will be listened to. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated and is cause for instant banishment.
